The Trinity River Refuge headquarters ground breaking event was a huge success with nearly 60 folks in attendance. As one of the reporters that attended said "We don't get 60 people at these types of events, even if food is served." The community folks were impressed with the site layout and view. The Mayor of Liberty kept pressing me on the next phase - a Visitor Center. I just kept saying - in time, in time.... Below are some pictures. Lined up at the shovels (donated by the Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce) are - Silvester Martincic, MaryAnne Campbell (Chamber President), Laurie Lomas, Stuart Marcus, Rick Carroll, Bonnie Campisi, Carl Pickett (Liberty Mayor), and Gerald Arrington (C3 - prime contractor). Thanks again for all the support. Oh, and by the way, we hope to break 100 folks when we have the ribbon cutting for the actual office!!! Might even have some food........
